The Belau Family

50th wedding anniversaries and getting the whole family together are fun!  I had the chance to photograph the Belau family on the beach in Cayucos, where Larry and Andrea were celebrating their anniversary with their children and grandchildren.  Getting to see the cousins playing and the sisters and brothers and in-laws catching up was great.  Family had gathered from Alaska, Seattle, and up and down California!  Everyone braved the not-so-warm morning with good grace and I had a blast running around after the kids.  Congratulations to Andrea and Larry on 50 years, and thanks to everyone for spending a fun morning on the beach with me!

Baby Elizabeth

Adam and Sarah’s baby girl Elizabeth is getting bigger! Her most recent visit to the Central Coast wouldn’t have been complete without a visit to the beach, and we braved a chilly Sunday morning at Avila to make these photographs.  Elizabeth was a good sport during our morning photo shoot, and she had a great time in the end checking out sand for the first time!  She’s such a good-natured baby, it was fun to play together on the beach!

Baby Blakely

Amy and Brandon welcomed their new little girl, beautiful Blakely Claire, on May 7, 2013.  She weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces and was 21 inches long. We met when she was ten days old for some newborn photographs and had a great time!  Her parents were good sports about everything, and it was lovely to see Blakely checking out the world with dad and snoozing happily in her mom’s arms.

Abigale’s First Birthday!

Friends and family gathered to celebrate Abi’s first birthday with balloons, bbq, delicious snacks, and of course CAKE!  It was the perfect party – everyone had time to chat and catch up, and to enjoy the day together.  Abi was a darling princess – she napped through lunch giving everyone a chance to eat, and then she awoke to dive into her special “1” birthday cake – which happened to be the first cake she’d ever had!  She was full of smiles and grins for her party attendees, and everyone thought she was the most adorable little girl ever!

The Todd Family

With a family of 6, it’s hard to sit still! But, with everyone in one place, we managed to make some family photographs.  It’s fun to see brothers and sisters Finn, Dimitri, Sidda, and Aunica along with Mama Heather and Papa Deon together because everyone’s personality is so distinct!  Running around and getting to play at the pumpkin patch and the park was amusing, and getting to ride in the wheelbarrow was pretty exciting.  A fun fall day!
